Try your hand at blacksmithing with with Matt Holliday, Frank Gillespie and Dave Kauffman. Learn to start a fire with flint and steel, make coke from coal, heat steel to a forging temperature and use a hammer, anvil and other tools to make a candlestick holder or hook rack. Visit Lancaster Online to see a video or newspaper article about the class. Cost is $65, including materials. This workshop is not for children under 16.
