Three tour options are available for school groups or other children's groups (scouts, for example). The standard tour is available to groups as small as 7 students; the other two tours are designed for groups of 15 or more. One chaperone per 8 students is free; additional adults pay $4.00 each.
A. Herr House & Longhouse Standard Tour - 90 minutes
This tour includes the 1719 Hans Herr House; küche, stube, kammer, attic, and cellar. The tour also discusses early Pennsylvania German architecture, the history and doctrine of the Anabaptist faith, colonial family life, food preparation and much more. The tour of the Longhouse includes discussion of pre- and post-contact Native American life and culture, discussing food culture, Longhouse construction, societal structures, spirituality, care for the earth, and much more.

B. Herr House, Longhouse and Grounds Tour - 2 hours
Includes all of the features of the Standard Tour plus a guided tour of the museum exhibit buildings and grounds including the blacksmith shop, smokehouse and bake oven and a chance to learn and play period Colonial and Native American games.
$4.00 - Students in Kindergarten through grade 8
C. Herr House, Longhouse, Grounds & Wagon Ride Grand Tour
Includes all of the above plus a special visit to the 1835 Shaub House and a wagon ride through the grounds..
