  • Christopher Mark Jones—The Pittsburgh singer/songwriter is "a throwback to a time when songs were actually written about something real," says WCCS Acoustic Hour host Anthony Frazier.
  • Sopa Sol—Lancaster-based world folk music featuring Frances Miller (strings), Jason Mundok (bass and guitar), Daryl Snider (guitar and sax) and David Armstrong (percussion). Everybody sings. Miller also plays a UFO-shaped thing called a hang drum, which makes sounds almost as ethereal.

  • Mark DeRose—The beginning of a new era for the Lancaster singer/songwriter. “Mark plays a sunny blend of folk and funk. The music shines through those glass half empty days," says Mike Cagesso of The York Daily Record.
  • Dietrich Strause Trio—“Strause’s voice is mellifluous; his sound has traces of a young Paul Simon mixed with that Josh Ritter Midwestern wanderlust”—Rich Kassirer, Modern Acoustic. "A first-rate lyricist”—Steve Morse, former music critic at The Boston Globe.

  • Spirit Wing—A four-time finalist for the Native American Music Awards, this band from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, has become one of the most popular Native American acts in the Middle Atlantic States.
