Maize and Snitz FestSaturday, October 5, 2019 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This popular annual festival—held on the grounds of the county’s oldest home—features great food, interpreters in traditional dress, hands-on activities and demonstrations of colonial-era arts, crafts and farm life: threshing, quilting, loom weaving, heckling flax, churning butter, cooking over a fire, and making shingles, shoes, candles and corn husk dolls.
