Share your unique skills
Artisans make the Hans Herr House and Lancaster Longhouse experience real for guests and visitors. As artisans share their skills with others, the grounds of the Herr House and the Lancaster Longhouse are filled with the sights, sounds and smells of Colonial America.
Are you a craftsperson in the old tradition? Do you have experience or interest in colonial-era or old-time hand-work, such as blacksmithing, joinery, Native pottery, basket making, quilting, Native beading, coopering, broom-making, tanning, flint-napping, dyeing, cobbling, or animal husbandry? Are you itching to demonstrate your skill to an appreciative public?
